Ronald Grigor Suny

Ronald Grigor Suny (ur. 25 września 1940) – amerykański historyk i politolog pochodzenia ormiańskiego, sowietolog.

Życiorys

Urodził się w Filadelfii w rodzinie ormiańskiej. Absolwent Swarthmore College (1962). Doktorat w 1968 na Columbia University. Był profesorem University of Michigan, następnie University of Chicago. Jest zaliczany do grona rewizjonistów^[1]. Zajmuje się historią ZSRR i postsowieckiej Rosji, nacjonalizmem oraz konfliktami etnicznymi na tym terenie. Zajmuje się też dziejami Kaukazu i Ludobójstwem Ormian.
